There a various type of Japanese Tea （Green Tea） with different flavors, however,
they are all made of the same tea leafs.
Many varieties of tea can be created by altering growing methods,harvest
seasons, sections of the plant and preparation after harvest.
Amongst the different types of Japanese Green Tea, Wazuka-cha is one of
the few that is still created by tea makers that strictly follow the traditional
ways.
One example is the steaming process. In order to preserve the flavor, aroma
and shape as much a possible, the tea leaves that have been picked by hand,
leaf by leaf, are "quick steamed".
Of the different types of special teas of Wazuka, the tea makers of Wazuka-cha
have selected 3 of the highest quality Japanese Green Teas, Sencha, Matcha
and Houjicha. Many types of Japanese Green Teas are grown here in Wazuka,also
known as the birthplace of Japanese Tea. |
